All energy resources have several common characteristics – energy intensity or calorific value, thus we have the opportunity to combine them into groups.

From the table it becomes clear to us that one of the common parameters is kW. Most states use the concept of kW to measure electricity for sale. kW is a stable unit, it does not change.
My proposal is the creation of a universal stable digital currency WATTSCOIN (wattscoin), the abbreviation is wcn. For carrying out interstate, intrastate, retail and other types of settlements in order to transfer rights to the agreed volumes of energy resources and other types of goods.
This currency makes it possible to eliminate the speculation of intermediate companies and exclude volatility, as it belongs to the category of hybrid stablecoins.
The ratio of wcn unit to 1 kW of energy is a guarantee of currency stability.
For the full and rapid realization of the potential of the project, it becomes necessary to create a company that can ensure the financial stability of the start of the implementation of wcn and its value in a bank account, it becomes necessary to attract an investment partner, a state-owned guarantor bank or another issuer. Or attract an existing organization with the necessary capital.
There is an opportunity to move to a longer stage with a gradual set of investor clients. Also, the possibility of transferring rights in full or in part is not excluded.
It is also necessary to take into account that the main energy consumers in the international market are the states that mine gold and are stably capable of turnover. So, for example, China produces about 400 tons of gold per year, while the annual need for electricity is 5.56 PW. Own generation is up to 5.8 PW, but it must be remembered that the lion’s share of generation is provided by thermal power plants (67%) and this cannot continue indefinitely. And in the future, the production of renewable energy will require huge areas of land that are owned by huge enterprises and companies with an agricultural focus, which will affect the pricing of crops and the energy resources themselves. In turn, holdings with huge areas will parasitize and dictate prices – and this is not right. Placing solar power plants in the equatorial zone, in desert areas, entails the need for guaranteed payment schemes, and our currency is suitable for this. A stable economy requires a stable currency and a stable energy price.
